Clothing Industry Training
Authority
With more than thirty years of experience in
providing vocational training to the clothing industry, CITA has been
adopting an industry-led approach to cope with the training needs in the
ever-changing global environment. In supporting the new challenges
facing the clothing industry, CITA has to enhance its training capacity
by continuously recruiting quality training staff. We are now inviting
application for professionals to join our training team with the
following requirements:
Part-time Lecturer
Specialism:
Fashion design, Accessory design (e.g. footwear,
handbag), Fashion retailing and buying, Fashion merchandising, Visual
merchandising, Accounting and shipping, International fashion business,
Fashion marketing, English for apparel business, Apparel technology,
Pattern design, Quality assurance, Textile technology and chemistry
(e.g. knowledge of materials, coloration, washing).
Major Duties:
(1)
To conduct courses in classrooms and/or workshops;
(2)
To develop and prepare teaching aids and materials; and
(3)
To perform teaching-related duties.
Requirements:
(1)
A relevant Higher Diploma or equivalent professional
qualification; and
(2)
At least 3 years relevant industrial experience; and
(3)
Commitment to the education / training career; and
(4)
Good command of English and Chinese; and
(5)
Good presentation skill; and
(6)
Teaching experience will be an advantage.
