DIPLOMA IN FASHION DESIGN AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

The course aims to equip trainees with the necessary knowledge and skills on all fashion design and fashion development processes from design concept, sample manufacturing to order placing. The feature of the course is the combination of theoretical and practical aspects in training, so that the graduates can apply all they have learned in the job. This also helps to reinforce the competitiveness of Hong Kong to be an international fashion centre.

 
2817 Fashion Design and Product Development Diploma Course has been validated by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Graduates can apply for the related Higher Diploma Courses provided by The Institute of Textile & Clothing of the HK Polytechnic University (full-time day / evening courses), (Eligible for credit transfer).

Also, graduates can take the professional examination of the Advanced Diploma organized by The Hong Kong Institution of Textile and Apparel (HKITA). After passing the Advanced Diploma examination, graduates are qualified to apply for the Membership of the HKITA.
