DIPLOMA IN KNITWEAR FASHION DESIGN AND MERCHANDISING 
(Course Code 2816)

This course aims to equip trainees with the necessary knowledge and skills on all fashion design, merchandising technique and manufacture technology in the knitwear field and the relationship amongst the functions. The feature on the course is the combination of theoretical and practical aspects in training. The graduates are provided with a broad spectrum of knowledge to work in the knitwear fashion industry or to pursue further studies for a higher qualification.

 
2816 Knitwear Fashion Design and Merchandising Diploma Course has been validated by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Graduates can apply for the related Higher Diploma Courses provided by The Institute of Textile & Clothing of the HK Polytechnic University (full-time day / evening courses), (Eligible for credit transfer).

Also, graduates can take the professional examination of the Advanced Diploma organized by The Hong Kong Institution of Textile and Apparel (HKITA). After passing the Advanced Diploma examination, graduates are qualified to apply for the Membership of the HKITA.
