CITA provides 2-years diploma technician courses for F.5 school leavers. Student may choose from Fashion Business or Fashion Design & Development streams of courses according to their interest. F.5 school leavers may take up diploma courses in two years. CITA hands on a combination of theoretical and practical vocational training. Through various training workshops, trainees acquire with market-oriented technical skills. Furthermore, trainees can learn a wide scope of advanced clothing technologies through visiting apparel centres of excellence managed by the Authority. All these could help our trainees in preparing for their challenging careers in Fashion and Clothing industry.
The Authority also offers assistance in placing the graduates. Graduates may begin their career as assistant merchandiser, assistant designer, pattern maker, assistant sample coordinator, assistant controller, quality controller and fashion & clothing related personnel in trading companies or factories.
Two-year Diploma Course
| Entry Requirements: | F.5 standard with at least 4 subjects passed in HKCEE or 21 years of age or above |
| Location: | Kowloon Bay Training Centre (Some workshop practical classes would be arranged at Lai King Training Centre) |
| Course duration: | Two years / Total 1560 hours |
