To enhance its product and services development function to better serve the industry, Clothing Industry Training Authority invites applications for the following post:

Senior Clothing Technologist (contract)

Responsibility

• Assist in the developing and marketing of the new product and services
• Administer and execute training and industry support projects

Requirement

• Degree holder or equivalent in textile technology
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience, preferably related to fabric sourcing, product development, quality control, or compliance
• Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills and willing to work under pressure
• Good command of both written & spoken English and Chinese
• Computer literate with good presentation skills

The successful candidate will be remunerated with an attractive package including competitive salary, fringe benefits and gratuity.

Recruitment – Assistant Program Officer/Program Officer for Part-time Training Courses (2 Posts)

The Clothing Industry Training Authority (CITA) intends to appoint a contract-based Assistant Program Officer/Program Officer to coordinate the part-time training courses. Their job duties include recruiting students for part-time training programs, providing professional consultation for students, preparing promotional campaign, coordinating with the tutors for class preparation, and handling routine administration works and daily correspondences. The ideal candidates should also have ability to achieve quantifiable targets.

 
Requirements:

• For Program Officer Post: Degree or equivalent professional qualification or above in relevant disciplines, i.e., management, business, marketing or clothing and textiles & a minimum 3 years working experience in marketing, customer services, program administration, teaching or training, preferably directly involved in education or clothing field;

• For Assistant Program Officer Post: Certificate or Diploma or equivalent qualification plus 1-2 working experience;

• Knowledge on clothing and textiles is an advantage;

• Proficiency in MS Office software applications, i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint, is a must;

• Aggressive, self-motivated, mature and good at coordination;

• Ability to work under pressure;

• Team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; and

• Good command in both speaking and writing English and Chinese, preferably Mandarin

• It may require to work on shift-basis.

  
The contract will last for 12 months. It will be subject to renewal upon mutual agreement.
